A moment of relaxation in a legendary historical edifice

La Mamounia’s first historical building, The Menzeh – for years known as “Le Marabout” and named according to the legend whereby a marabout watched over the hotel – can be discovered at the end of a stroll along a pathway lined with rose bushes and ancient olive trees.

With the Chef Pierre Hermé at the helm, this charming and picturesque pavilion offers a selection of ice cream treats, pastries and other chocolate delights. Our guests often enjoy a delicious mint tea here. A rare, precious moment that reflects the essence of the Moroccan way of life.

Open: From 9 am to 6 pm – Takeaway service is also available at these times.

Dresscode: An elegant dress code is required in all public areas. Wearing pairs of shorts is not allowed in bars and restaurants as from 6pm.
